The State court said that the proceedings had been separated due to the sickness of Jovan Popovic.

In February this year, Jovan and Goran Popovic denied the charges against them.

The trial of Goran Popovic should start soon, while his father’s trial will start as soon as his health improves.

Jovan Popovic is charged with illegally arresting four Bosniak civilians from the Rodic Hills and taking them to the police station in Visegrad, where they were killed.

He is also charged with keeping a woman and her two underage children in conditions of slavery during June 1992, as he forced them to work in his property.

“The body of this woman was exhumed on May 16, 2012 in Djurevica Fields near Visegrad, and her children have been missing since the war,” said the Bosnian prosecution.

Goran Popovic is charged as a guard in the Uzamnica camp, for taking part in beatings, abuse, torture and the sexual abuse of prisoners.
